Skin concern · BYGOLDEN Parkdale
Clinician-guided treatment for loose and sagging skin at BYGOLDEN in Parkdale, Melbourne. Minimally invasive options for the face, neck and beyond.
Skin laxity is one of the most common concerns we see at BYGOLDEN. The degree of laxity, the areas affected, your skin type and your goals all determine which treatment, or combination of treatments, will produce the most meaningful result.
Rather than prescribing a single solution, our clinicians take an assessment-first approach. We draw on a curated range of clinically proven treatments and build a program suited to your skin and your life.
All programs at BYGOLDEN begin with a thorough skin or cosmetic medicine consultation before any treatment proceeds.
Skin laxity refers to the gradual loss of firmness and elasticity that occurs as collagen and elastin production decline with age. Collagen provides the structural framework of the skin, while elastin allows it to return to shape. As both decline at approximately 1% per year from our mid-twenties, the skin loses its ability to maintain definition and begins to appear loose or sagging.
The face, jawline, neck and décolletage are among the first areas to show visible signs of skin laxity.
For most clients presenting with skin laxity, a Cosmetic Medicine Consultation is the recommended starting point. This allows your clinician to assess your skin across all available modalities and design the most appropriate program for your goals. If you know your priority is laser or skin-based treatment only, a Skin Consultation may be the right first step.
At BYGOLDEN, we use the Aura 3D facial imaging system to objectively track changes in your skin throughout your treatment program. One of only five devices in Australia, the Aura 3D analyses your skin at multiple depths with clinical precision.
For skin laxity clients, this means your clinician can monitor structural improvement, skin quality and response to treatment over time — taking the guesswork out of your program and giving you clear, measurable evidence of your skin's progress.
In-clinic treatment is only part of the picture. What you do between appointments meaningfully affects how well your skin responds and how long results are maintained.
Your clinician will provide detailed aftercare guidance specific to your treatment at every appointment.
Your clinician will assess your skin, discuss your concerns and design a treatment program suited to your goals. No treatment proceeds without a thorough assessment first.
